War Beast

Description

Once a hound keeper in the underworld, War Beast heeded the call to arms in order to feed the victims of Newerth to his pets. War Beast's allegiance was never questioned. His hunger for carnage remains unending, feeding the animal within.

The War Beast is relegated to killing neutrals with Hellhounds from the onset of the game. However, once he has reached a reasonable level of power, he can easily solo-kill Kongor and push down towers with a combination of Hellhounds and Puzzlebox.

Summon Hellhounds [Q]

War Beast Summons forth Hellhounds from the underworld to attack his enemies.

Activate to summon 2 Hellhounds.

Hellhounds have 400 Health, deal {15,25,35,45} Damage, 2 Armor, and have a 30% chance to critical strike for {1.2,1.4,1.6,1.8}x damage. Level 4 Hellhounds are invisible while not attacking.

Status Effect(s):
Summons 2 Hellhounds. Only 2 can be active at a time.

Hellhounds have 400 Health, deal {15,25,35,45} Physical Damage per attack, 2 Armor, and have an attack cooldown time of 1.25 seconds. Their attacks have a 30% chance to do {1.2,1.4,1.6,1.8}x normal damage.

Level 4 Hellhounds gain invisibility when not attacking.

Hellhounds cannot attack towers unless War Beast is within 925 units.

Summons 2 Hellhounds for 55 seconds.

Hellhounds have {400,475,550,625} Health, deal {30,35,40,45} Physical Damage per attack, 2 Armor, and have an attack cooldown time of 1.25 seconds. Their attacks have a {0,30,30,30}% chance to do 1.5x normal damage.

Level 4 Hellhounds gain invisibility when not attacking.

Hellhounds cannot attack towers unless War Beast is within 925 units.

Battle Cry [W]

War Beast lets out a mighty battle cry, adding bonus damage to himself and units under his command.

Activate to grant yourself and all allied heroes in the game {15,20,25,30} Attack Damage and {5,10,15,20} Attack Speed for 20 seconds.

All allied player-controlled units in the game receive {6,8,10,12} Attack Damage and {5,10,15,20} Attack Speed.

Battle Cry Effect(s):
Applies Battle Cry to self and all allied heroes for 20 seconds.

Applies Rallied to all allied player controlled units for 20 seconds. This buff does not grant assists to War Beast.

Applies Battle Cry to self and all allied heroes for 16 seconds.

Applies Rallied to all allied player controlled units for 16 seconds.

Primal Rage [E]

War Beast builds his Primal Rage, increasing Attack Damage and Health Regeneration of himself and units under his control.

Passively adds {10,15,20,25}% Base Damage and {2,4,6,8} Health Regeneration to yourself and units under your control.

Metamorphosis [R]

War Beast transforms into a Hellhound Lieutenant, gaining a larger Health pool, a critical attack, a speed boost and unitwalking.

Activate to transform for 16 seconds.

Activated form reduces base attack time, grants a 30% {1.6,1.8,2}x critical strike chance, {100,200,300} bonus Health, {600,800,1000} sight range at night, unitwalking, and increases Movement Speed of self and all units you control to Maximum.

Staff of the Master makes all the effects of this ability passive, except for the speed bonus.

This ability can be boosted by Staff of the Master.

Staff Effect: All effects of this ability except for the movement speed bonus become passive.

Applies Metamorphosis to self for 16 seconds.

Metamorphosis*:
Activate to gain maximum movement speed and unitwalking on self and all units you control for 16 seconds.

Passively reduces base attack time, grants a 30% {1.6,1.8,2}x critical strike chance, {100,200,300} bonus Health and {600,800,1000} sight range at night.

Passively reduces your base attack time from 1.7 to 1.4 seconds and increases your sight range at night by {600,800,1000}.

Applies Metamorphosis to self for 16 seconds.
