Deadlift

Description

Deadlift was human once, a prisoner of the Hellbourne named Eckol who was forced to turn his fellow prisoners into feed for the Fright Hounds. He had forsaken all hope when his long-lost wife, Reena, appeared next to him--she was next in line for the slaughter. Eckol found hope again, and courage. He fought to save Reena and escape the prison camp just as Calamity shattered Newerth closer to the Third Corruption. Reena was consumed by the spreading evil and pulled into the underworld while Eckol was torn apart by shrapnel and cursed with the power to raise the dead. He gathered the molten scraps of metal and used them to hold his ruined body together, vowing to fill the underworld with souls until he found Reena once again.

Deadlift is a melee teamfighter that specializes in bringing back dead units with his Resurrection ability. Using Onslaught, Deadlift is capable of devastating both heroes and structures, while Soul Syphon grants him bonus health whenever a nearby unit falls in battle.

Unholy Strength [Q]

Deals damage to nearby enemies and steals strength from enemy heroes.

Activate to deal {20,40,60,80} Magic Damage to nearby enemies, stealing 4 Strength from enemy heroes caught for 30 seconds.

Non-hero enemies take {60,120,180,240} Magic Damage instead.

Staff of the Master decreases the cooldown by 2 seconds and increases the Strength Steal to 10.

Activate to turn your Death Grip projectile towards your cursor.

This ability can be boosted by Staff of the Master.

Onslaught [W]

Runs to the target with bonus movement and attack speed, forcing nearby ally creeps to attack the target.

Target an enemy unit or structure to run to them and apply a 50% Movement Speed Slow for 2 seconds, summoning {2,3,4,5} Undead to help you and forcing all nearby allied non-hero units to do the same.

Affected ally units gain {20,40,60,80} Attack Speed and will attack the target for 6 seconds, dealing increased damage to structures, but decreased damage to other units.

Target an enemy unit or structure to run to them with 550 Movement Speed and Unitwalking, applying a 50% Movement Speed Slow to the target and forcing all nearby allied non-hero units to do the same.

Also summons {2,3,4,5} Undead to help you upon use. Undead have 30 Attack Damage with a 1.6 second attack cooldown.

Affected ally units gain {20,40,60,80} Attack Speed and will be forced to attack the target for 6 seconds. During this time they deal 150% damage to structures, but deal 50% damage to all other units.

Soul Syphon [E]

Deadlift revels in death, gaining health as nearby units fall in battle.

Passively regains {1,1.5,2,2.5}% of Max Health for every creep and {4,6,8,10}% of Max Health for every hero that dies nearby.

Activate to deal {75,100,125,150} Magic Damage to enemy heroes in radius and summon 2 undead units that assist you for {20,30,40,50} seconds. Undead units have 300 Health, 30 Attack Damage.

Passively revives NPC Creeps and Neutrals (except mechanical units, Ancients, Bosses) that die within 1000 radius and have them assist you for {20,30,40,50} seconds. Revived units deal {50,75,100,125}% damage and take {350,300,250,200}% damage.

Maximum of {3,4,5,6} undead units. Units will not revive if the undead limit is reached. Undead units give 10 Gold and Experience to its killer.

Resurrection [R]

Grants the ability to raise ally heroes and minions from the dead.

Activate to revive all nearby ally units after a 3 second channel. Heroes resurrect with up to 100% Health and Mana, divided between the number of heroes resurrected. Non-hero units resurrect with 50% Health under Deadlift's control for 10 seconds.

Passively leaves a gravestone when an ally hero dies. Allies revived will neither leave a Gravestone nor lose gold from dying for 30 seconds.
