Demented Shaman

Description

No greater shame has the Beast Horde than the Demented Shaman: one of their holiest priests, an initiate into their deepest secrets and greatest lore, who betrayed his people and turned to join the Hellbourne. He is a force of corruption and outrage, draining the life of the land to heal those who would destroy it and defeat those who would defend it.

The Demented Shaman is able to play an offensive and defensive role simultaneously, as Unbreakable, Healing Wave, and Storm Cloud all have multiple uses. Because Storm Cloud reduces opponent Armor significantly, the Demented Shaman is best paired with a Physical Damage dealer.

Entangle [Q]

[ Target Entity ]

The Shaman entangles a target enemy unit in vines, slowing its Movement Speed for a short duration and very briefly stunning it. The vines then tighten around the target unit, causing damage over time.

Target an enemy unit to apply a Mini-Stun and a 40% Movement Speed Slow that increases to {40,60,80,100}% over 2 seconds.

Afterwards, applies a {0,0.5,1,1.5} second Stun and deals {84,126,168,210} Physical Damage over 7 seconds.

Entangled Effect(s):
Stuns target for 0.1 seconds and applies a Movement Speed Slow that starts at 40% and increases to {40,60,80,100}% over 2 seconds. After the slow expires, target is stunned for {0,0.5,1,1.5} seconds and Entangled is applied for 7 seconds.

Storm Cloud [W]

The Shaman conjures a storm on a target. Allied heroes will gain Armor over time, while enemy heroes will lose Armor over time.

Target a hero to apply Storm Cloud on them for 10 seconds.

If cast on an ally, ally heroes within radius of the cloud will gain Armor. If cast on an enemy, enemy heroes within radius of the cloud will lose Armor.

Armor gained/lost increases to {4,6,8,10} Armor halfway through the state duration, and slowly decreases to 0 afterwards.

Storm Shield Effect(s):
Target a hero to apply Storm Cloud on them for 10 seconds.

If cast on an ally, ally heroes within radius of the cloud will gain Armor. If cast on an enemy, enemy heroes within radius of the cloud will lose Armor.

Armor gained/lost increases to {4,6,8,10} Armor halfway through the state duration, and slowly decreases to 0 afterwards.

Healing Wave [E]

The Shaman casts a healing wave that can bounce between multiple allied units. The healing wave absorbs life from the area surrounding the healed unit, damaging enemy units in the immediate area around a healed unit.

Target an Ally (or self) to apply a {80,100,120,140} Heal. The heal instantly chains to the nearest {2,2,3,4} friendly targets.

Healed units deal {80,100,120,140} Physical Damage around themselves.

Status Effect(s):
Heals the target for {80,100,120,140} Health and deals {80,100,120,140} Physical Damage in a 180 radius around target. Effect chains to {2,2,3,4} additional targets within 500 units.

Unbreakable [R]

[ Target Entity ]

The Shaman enchants a targeted allied unit with Unbreakable, giving them bonus Attack Damage and preventing death by setting their HP to a specific value if fatal damage is received.

Target a hero to make them Unbreakable for 15 seconds. Taking fatal damage with the Unbreakable buff sets the target's Health to {200,400,600}, dispels Unbreakable, and places the skill on a 60 second cooldown.

When not on cooldown or not on another target, Unbreakable remains active indefinitely on Demented Shaman.

If Unbreakable is dispelled without its effects activating, Unbreakable goes on a 30 second cooldown.

This ability can be boosted by Staff of the Master.

Staff Effect: Increases duration of buff/debuff from {12,18,24} seconds to {18,24,30} seconds. Increases the radius of the cloud from 700 to 900.

Unbreakable Effect(s):
Grants the target {200,400,600} Health if they take fatal damage, dispels Unbreakable and places the skill on cooldown.

When not on cooldown or not on another target, Unbreakable remains active indefinitely on Demented Shaman until fatal damage is received.

Activate and target another ally hero to transfer Unbreakable's effects to them for 15 seconds. If the target does not receive fatal damage while Unbreakable is active on them, Demented Shaman will receive Unbreakable's effects indefinitely and Unbreakable goes on a 15 second cooldown.

If Unbreakable is Dispelled without its effects activating, Unbreakable goes on a 30 second cooldown.

Thunderstorm Cloud (Boosted):
Target a location to apply Storm Cloud to all heroes in the area for {18,24,30} seconds. Enemies lose 1 Armor per second while Allies gain 1 Armor per second for the duration.

This ability has been boosted by Staff of the Master.
